With the advent of screen printing, people started getting pictures which could be anything. It could be a coffee mug or a cartoon character of Walt Disney. Now, even photographs of one's self or their loved ones can also be printed on t-shirts. Layering is one of the latest trends in the t-shirt lovers. Tees are also a way for celebrities to sway political opinion among people, with A-listers often sporting t shirts that declare their allegiance to one or other candidate and even encouraging people to vote with the words "Vote or Die" emblazoned on t shirts of celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z, Paris Hilton, and Ashton Kutcher.
